Once again, our beloved PublicSpaceOne called on the doers of do to raise funds with an art auction, and Mustard-In-Law dripped up to the plate with a six tape box set.
We provided a listening station and easy access to the contents.
The booklet was six feet long!

Awkward Portal was an auction by and for our beloved local art community space, Public Space One. In addition to contributing a painting to the auction, Mustard-In-Law made a special four-tape box set, named Awkward Portal.

Governor’s Mansion asked me to display some art for a few weeks in the room where many events are hosted. In addition to showing all kinds of random creations on paper, I provided a tape player and 40 cassettes with album covers and / or sounds made by me.
Noise show at Gabe’s, Iowa City. Blue/Movies with Sinjo Thraw Mash, Joe Grove, and BOAR. I performed as Verdant Fog. The day of the show I recorded and constructed these two-minute tapes.
Designed this poster for inclusion with a 5inch record by Ivan the Tolerable, special release for Record Store Day.
A collection of emerging artists displayed and sold their work at the Old Brick Church in Iowa City. In addition to showing off some of my latest acrylic paintings, I exhibited a selected discography of releases featuring my sounds and/or my album artwork: cassettes, cds, records, VHS tapes, DVDs, floppy disks.
